The Borkollégium courses are specifically designed to enable students to develop an international approach to wine. This is guaranteed by teaching the WSET curriculum and using their exam system. The school was accredited in 2005, making it the first WSET centre in Hungary and its 994th training (and examination) institution.

 

The Wine and Spirit Education Trust, or WSET, is now the world’s most important school system delivering wine education. The primary goal of the sessions is to transfer knowledge about drinks in line with changing needs and new consumption habits, while the approach to tasting focuses on balance-centric wine evaluation. Professionals who have qualified through this system taste and evaluate wine in a practically uniform manner everywhere from London to Australia.

 

 

 

 

We teach the first three levels. The courses are held in English, so participation requires foreign language knowledge. After successful completion of WSET Level 3 and passing the examination in English, you will receive an internationally recognised qualification. This will allow you to progress to the Level 4 Diploma course, which has been held in both German and English at the Austrian Wine Academy in Rust since 2011.
